1. How consent works
Necessary technologies are permitted because they support security, form delivery, caching, and storage of the visitor’s privacy choice. Recognised analytics and marketing scripts are converted to inert text/plain elements and cannot execute until the visitor grants the matching category.
2. Your choices
- Accept all: enables analytics and marketing categories.
- Reject optional: keeps only necessary technologies active.
- Manage preferences: permits category-by-category selection.
- Withdraw or change consent: use the control at any time.
3. Technologies currently used
| Name / storage | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_lscache_vary | Supports page-cache variation and reliable website delivery. | Necessary | Managed by the caching service. |
usv_cookie_consent | Stores consent ID, notice version, selected categories, and timestamp. | Necessary preference | Up to 180 days. |
usv-consent-v2 (localStorage) | Mirrors the browser preference so the consent interface can be restored reliably. | Necessary preference | Until cleared, expired, or the notice version changes. |
4. Optional technologies
No analytics or marketing tracker is enabled by the theme by default. If USV later enables a recognised analytics or campaign-measurement script, it will remain blocked until the visitor grants the relevant category.
5. Consent evidence
USV records a minimised consent entry containing an anonymous consent ID, notice version, selected categories, language, timestamp, and a one-way technical fingerprint used to prevent duplicate records. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the consent log.
6. Browser controls
You may also delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Removing the stored preference causes the consent interface to appear again.
